At the end of the school year I always like to have students write about their favorite memories or what they have learned. It is a great way for them to practice their writing skills plus it gives me insight and feedback about what they enjoyed most about our time together.
I would usually make it a craftivity and create cute end of the year bulletin boards that displayed their work. However, this year has been quite different because of COVID-19 and since we are not in the classroom and not all students have access to craft materials I had to create end of the year writing prompts for distance learning.
I decided to still use the same cute themes from the end of the year bulletin boards and crafts I have done in the past so they would still be fun for students to complete but they could be done digitally or on one printable page.
You can share them during your online class meetings as a fun way of reviewing your school year together.
These end of the year writing prompts can easily be completed in Google Slides (Google Classroom), Seesaw, or printed and sent in take-home packets.
