This is a simple to prepare, fun Thanksgiving game that practices numbers, subitizing, and addition. It can be played individually or in small groups as a game.
Roll & cover/color games are one of my favorite November center activities because students learn the routine once, then can focus on practicing new skills instead of learning a new game every week.
This free Thanksgiving Roll & Cover activity includes both printable and digital versions, making it easy to use during math centers, small groups, morning work, or independent practice.
Two Levels for Easy Differentiation
The freebie includes two versions so you can choose the level that works best for your students.
Numbers 1-6, One Die
The first version uses only one die and is for students who still need practice with one-to-one correspondence, counting, and number recognition.
Students roll the die, count the dots, and color the correct number on their turkeys.

Numbers 2-12, Two Dice
The second version is for students who need more of a challenge. It uses 2 dice and requires students to add the two numbers together and color the correct feather.
It’s an easy way to build addition fluency while keeping the activity fun and engaging.

Digital Seesaw Version
A digital Seesaw version is also included for independent practice or assessment. Since they have both video and written student instructions, they can easily be completed independently during morning work or math centers.
The digital Seesaw version has “virtual dice rolling” (no physical dice required). Students use the Eraser tool to reveal each dice roll, and then use the Drawing tools to color the correct feather.

The digital Seesaw version is ready-to-go. All you have to do is click the links and they will be automatically added to your Seesaw Library ready to be assigned to students.
