This is a simple to prepare, fun Thanksgiving game that practices numbers, subitizing, and addition. It can be played individually or in small groups as a game.
I make 2 differentiated versions for my kinders. The first version uses only one die and is for students who still need practice with one to one correspondence, counting, and number recognition.
Students roll the die, count the dots, and color the correct number on their turkeys.

The second version uses 2 dice and requires students to add the two numbers together and color the correct feather.

I recently updated this game to a digital Seesaw version to accommodate all learners. I wanted virtual learners to be able to participate as well.
Since not all virtual learners have dice available at home, the digital Seesaw version has “virtual dice rolling”. Students use the Eraser tool to reveal each dice roll and then use the Drawing tools to color the correct feather.

The digital Seesaw version is ready-to-go and comes with both print and digital directions for students. All you have to do is click the links and they will be automatically added to your Seesaw Library ready to be assigned to students.
