Teaching young students how to use scissors and glue takes time and lots of practice—even halfway through the school year. In this post, I’m sharing simple tips for continuing to build scissor and glue skills in the winter months, plus easy winter cutting activities that give practice with straight, wavy, and curved lines. Instead of cutting random paper scraps, students create meaningful winter crafts like snowflakes, snowmen, and Christmas trees they’ll be proud to show off.
