Recently I was asked for end of the year student gift ideas. It required me to go back through my files and find the templates for the student gifts / end of the year celebration favors that I have given out over the years. I decided to put them all in one blog post to share with others and make them easily available for anyone who may need them. Each idea has a printable tag (some are editable) that you can use to hopefully save you some time during the hectic end of the school year. If you also need editable diplomas and graduation invitations I have those available here.
Noah’s Ark End of the Year Student Gift & Gift Tag
Teaching in a Christian school we have used Noah’s Ark as the theme for our spring program many times over the years. I created this gift tag to coordinate with our program and graduation. I attach it to a ziploc baggie filled with animal crackers.

Beach Theme Sunglasses Student Gifts & Gift Tags
Another popular theme for the end of the year that we have done several times is the beach. I must say this is one of my favorites as I LOVE the beach! A cute student gift to coordinate with this theme is sunglasses along with an inspiring “You have such a bright future!” message. You can find very cute and inexpensive packages of children’s sunglasses at WalMart or the Dollar Store.

Ocean, Fish Graduation Gifts & Gift Tags
Several years we decorated the stage and classroom with an ocean theme for graduation and these adorable fish tags were perfect! It was the first “o-fish-al” sign for the students that they had moved up to the next grade – which is a BIG deal in pre-k and kindergarten! When I used them I preferred to use the bag topper tags that could be folded and stapled over the top of the ziploc bag filled with fish. Personally I preferred to use Swedish Fish because they are my favorite but you can also use Goldfish crackers. The tags also fit over the individual snack bags of Swedish Fish. I have both the bag topper tags and individual tags that can be hole punched in the printable.
Access the printable fish student tags here. Both the signature and the grade level are editable. Bag topper tags that fold and single hole punch tags are included.
Bubbles End of the Year Student Gifts & Gift Tags
I have used containers of bubble solution as end of the year gifts for my pre-K classes many times because they would always LOVE blowing bubbles when we would do it as an activity. I made the tags round to resemble bubbles. They are 3 inches in size so if you have a 3 inch round hole punch it makes it easy to cut them out. The first several times I used the saying “I’m bubbling with pride over all you have learned!”, then I saw “You blew me away!” online and tweaked it a little to say “You blew me away this year!”. Both of the sayings are included in the tag printable and include images for boys and girls.

Summer, Kool-Aid End of the Year Student Gifts & Tags
This was a gift idea I used at the conclusion of summer camp programs but I changed the saying to reflect the end of the school year. The tag says “Have a Kool summer!”. Attach it to a pack of Kool-Aid and crazy straw (you can also add a sports bottle or cup).

Pet Cloud End of the Year Student Gift & Tag
I found this idea while searching for ideas for my weather unit. It was posted on Jennuine’s blog. She also has a printable tag along with a poem. I gave mine to students at the end of our weather unit so I changed the poem; however, it can also be used as an end of the year gift which is why I included it in this post. To make a Pet Cloud stretch out a jumbo sized cotton ball and glue on 2 wiggly eyes.
You can access the pet cloud tags here. Bag topper tags that can be folded and placed along the top of a ziploc bag are included as well as single tags that can be hole punched and attached with a ribbon. Please note that these tags are NOT editable. If you wish to add your name, simply print and sign.
