Celebrate National Peanut Butter Day with Homemade Peanut Butter

It’s National Peanut Butter Day (January 24th)! Students love to watch peanut butter being made, use this simple recipe to make homemade peanut butter and then enjoy it for snack.

You need:
1 1/2 cups salted, roasted peanuts
blender

Put peanuts into blender container. Cover and process at Blend to the desired consistency. (If necessary, stop blender and use a rubber spatula to keep mixture around the processing blades. Cover and continue to process.)

Spread the peanut butter on crackers, bread, celery, or apples for snack.
