Bring the thrill and excitement of racing to your classroom! Get your students “up and running” by using this fun around the room activity to practice any skill. Students walk around the room visiting each race card and complete the skill on the card. The colorful, eye catching card pictures depict parts of a race (including a pit stop!). Students run a race and increase the pace of their learning! Around the room activities are perfect for getting students up and moving and excited about practicing skills.

You receive:

14 editable racing around the room cards. The skill on each of the cards is editable. Simply click the text box and fill in the desired wording or equation. (The racing pictures are not editable).

A worksheet for students to record their responses that includes matching pictures of the racing cards.

A blank, editable worksheet. Use it to customize the number of around the room cards used. Simply number the cards and then create a sheet with numbers and spaces for answers. It can also be used to keep track of students’ progress, for a center, or any racing related activity.

This activity can also be set up as a center. Place the cards in a container. Students pull out a card, solve the problem, and write their answers below the matching picture on their worksheet.
